How billing and saving work
Each charge is quantity × monthly price × billable calendar days ÷ days in the month. The activation day is included. Each batch’s service-month total is rounded to cents before totals are added.
Monthly invoices combine the prior month’s new-service prorations with the current month for services active on the 1st. The onboarding target is for planning only. Forecasts include future batches you enter. The comparison mode uses your original rule: starts in the final seven days also prepay the next month.
Each endpoint has one tier: Core, Essential Security, or Advanced Security. SIEM and 365 backup are separate billable units. Their quantities and start dates may differ from endpoint counts.
This calculator tracks additions and produces invoice previews; it does not send invoices, track payments, or automatically reconcile charges already invoiced elsewhere. Use Edit to correct an entry, not to record a mid-month tier change or removal.
Records save only in this browser on this device. They are not uploaded or shared with other devices. Download backups regularly, particularly before clearing browser data. Restore imports organizations as separate copies. CSV exports use a quantity of 1 and the exact batch total; the description contains the actual units, dates, price, and day calculation.
